How the magic works

Three taps to tonight's story

  1. Add your family

A storybook portrait of a smiling boy

A grown-up adds a photo of each family member. The magic book turns it into a storybook face, and the photo is never kept.

  2. Pick tonight's heroes

Your child taps who's in the story. Add an idea if you like, typed or spoken, or let the book surprise you.

  3. Watch it come alive

The magic book writes, paints and reads a brand-new picture book, made just for your family, in a few moments.

Your child decides

What happens next? They choose.

At the end of a chapter the story stops and asks. Little ones tap a picture, no reading needed, and the next chapter is already waiting.

A laughing girl, her puppy and a little cloud on a seesaw in a flower garden
Reading aloud

In the warm green garden, Mia and her fluffy puppy found a tiny, soft white cloud sitting sadly among the yellow daisies.

Read together, or listen

A warm voice reads every page

Each word lights up as it's read, so early readers follow along. Pages turn by themselves, and the text grows or shrinks with your child's age.

What ages is FableUs for?

Children 3 to 9. Little ones listen and tap pictures; older kids read along as words light up.

What happens to the photos I add?

A photo is used once, in memory, to draw a storybook face. The photo itself is never saved, and you can delete any family member at any time.

Which languages does it speak?

English and Hebrew, both for the app and the stories, with narration in each.

Is there anything my child could buy by accident?

No. Every purchase, setting and outside link is behind a grown-ups-only check, and prices are never shown to children.

When can we download it?

FableUs is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
